Munich is currently hosting the 19th World Conference on Nondestructive Testing (WCNDT), an important event on NDT and its application in different industry sectors. More than 2200 experts are participating in this important congress, which has a large exhibition area (276 exhibitors), an intensive program of lectures (673 in 144 sessions), and a schedule of meetings and workshops.
Tecnatom is participating in the 19th WCNDT with its own booth and three papers by its research staff, two of which are them focused on the nuclear sector: Check Valve Diagnosis by Sectorial Scanning Phased Array Ultrasonic Technique, and Ultrasonic Testing of ITER Toroidal Field Coil Cases Closure Welds. The third presentation will focus on aerospace: Laser Ultrasonics Inspections of Aeronautical Components by Means of Robotic Systems.
With over 50 years experience in NDT, Tecnatom is showing its latest developments in this field, with inspection systems, services, and training, as its progress in NDT through research and development. The Tecnatom Group is not only present at the 19th WCNDT with its parent company; M2M, one of the two French subsidiaries of Tecnatom, is also attending the event with its own stand, which will show the upgrades of Gekko, the portable phased array ultrasonic flaw detector inspection system.
